This year’s Phatwater Bowie was won by a complete stranger.  Well, not a complete stranger to his mom, but to us.  His name is Jim Donovan, and he hails from McKinney, Texas.  He is a friend of a friend of Jamie and Heather Kearney, and he bought several raffle tickets from Jamie, who commutes to Texas every two weeks to build computer generated maps for the USGS.  We’ll try to get a photo of Lucky Jim when Jamie presents him with the knife.
